Woman breaking presidential motorcade subjected to mandatory reporting.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Police said a woman with initial AS (28) who broke President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)’s motorcade has been subjected to mandatory reporting. According to police, she committed three traffic violations.

“It’s all traffic violation, she followed presidential motorcade where the VVIP group should not be followed,” said East Jakarta Police chief Yoyon Tony Surya Putra on Tuesday (Sept 25).

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Police Traffic Unit head, Agus said AS entered presidential motorcade and did not obey when being told to pull over. She then grazed one of police officers when trying to escape.

"The charge for grazing police officer is one year three months sentence,” Agus said.

The incident happened on Monday (Sept 24) morning. A woman broke Jokowi’s motorcade on Cimanggis Toll Road. After being stopped by officers, she again broke into the convoy. The police finally able to pushed her to pull over at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah area.

AS admitted that she did not know she has broke into Jokowi’s motorcade. She also claimed that was not under influence of alcohol at that time. She told the police that she was in a hurry to attend an event.
